Learn strategies to keep people watching your videos for longer.
The Retention Hub is a growing library of YouTube data from 40+ niches to help you create more engaging content.
Learn from the successes and failures of other videos to make yours better, faster.
See what worked for others... and what didn't.
Tired of guessing why people clicked away? Want to understand more about audience habits, pacing and storytelling?
The Retention Hub collects dozens of retention graphs and lets you filter by niche, views, retention problem, average view duration (%) and more.
The fastest way to find targeted advice for your content, improve audience retention, and grow your channel faster.
⚡️ Stop people clicking away
Find actionable takeaways specific to your niche in seconds.
Each video can be viewed in summary, so you can understand the most important info at a glance.
While there are no “rules” when it comes to YouTube, there are certainly patterns.
The more time you spend learning those patterns, the better chance you have of improving audience retention and getting more views.
🎥 Avoid the common mistakes
To create videos people want to watch for longer, you need to understand why they click away.
That’s why The Retention Hub mainly features data from small-to-medium-sized channels.
By studying the most common mistakes, you can ensure your next video avoids the same traps.
While I often feature comparisons to more successful videos, this is not a collection of flatline, 80% retention graphs
👁 Create more engaging content
Every single video comes with a full-length review.
You can expand each graph to see my long-form thoughts on each piece of content, such as:
- What worked.
- What to improve.
- Similar case studies.
- Actionable takeaways.
✍️ Real reviews, zero AI
Your retention graph represents the opinions of real people.
That’s why each video is watched, re-watched, studied and broken down by a real person – me! 👋
I’ve worked with some of the most exciting educational YouTubers in the world as a scriptwriter and my videos have had millions of views – I want to pass on what I’ve learned to you.
Every single video in this database has been meticulously assessed by me, so you get authentic opinions and thoughtful suggestions to improve video retention.
📈 New graphs added every week
I review between 9-12 new graphs per month, which means there will be between 130-160 by the end of 2023.
But when you invest in The Retention Hub, you gain lifetime access.
So no matter how many graphs I add, you won’t pay a penny more.
This is a long-term investment, but with up-front benefits.
Start learning today, with the knowledge the database will have quadrupled in size by the end of the year.
👋 Who am I?
I’m a consulting YouTube scriptwriter. I’ve written scripts for creators like Noah Kagen (500k subs) and Ali Abdaal (4m subs).
I currently work with Film Booth (260k subs) and Creator Wizard (43k subs) as a scriptwriter.
The Retention Hub is a collection of the videos I review in my weekly newsletter, Write On Time, which is sent to 750+ readers each week.
💰 One-time payment; no surprises
Get lifetime access, no matter how many new graphs I add.
Each “tier” includes slightly different features.
But no matter which you choose, you’ll only pay once!
This database is designed for creators who want to improve audience retention on their YouTube videos.
This database is a collection of retention graphs from YouTubers of various sizes and is designed for you to be able to gain knowledge, understanding and inspiration from the successes and failures of other videos.
This database is (mostly) a collection of graphs from small-to-medium sized YouTubers. My aim is to dissect the common problems creators face when creating content, and to offer my advice.
It does not (currently) contain retention graphs from many large channels. So if you’re hoping to see retention graphs of creators like Mr Beast, this product probably isn’t for you.
You’ll be given the option to download a short PDF, which features the link to the database and provides instructions on how to access it.
Seeing as The Retention Hub is a live database which is updated weekly, I recommend accessing it via the link whenever you want to use it.
You can duplicate it into your own Notion workspace, but new graphs that I add to the database won’t appear there.
You do not need a Notion account to use The Retention Hub.
But, if you wish, you can create a free account here.
DM me your graph (and link the video) on Twitter, or send both to my email.
[See bottom FAQ for contact details.]
The Retention Hub costs $45.
However, you can view each of the featured reviews for free in my newsletter, Write On Time.
The reason this product costs $45 is for the convenience of having every single review in a single location, with the ability to filter by niche, AVD%, views, etc.
It’s also an investment. New graphs are added every single week, so the value will only increase over time.
Nope! Once you buy The Retention Hub, you have lifetime access (no matter how many new graphs I add).
It’s likely the cost of the database will increase in the future, but you get full access to it at whatever price you paid at the time.
I offer refunds within 30 days of purchase, minus Paypal/Stripe fees.
Keep in mind, this is a trust-based system seeing as you can’t technically “return” the database.
But if you’re not satisfied with the purchase I’ll absolutely refund you.
Yes and no.
If you work with more than one person on your YouTube channel or have started to build a team, you can absolutely share this resource with them.
However, you can’t just share the link with anyone. This product is the result of hundreds of hours of work, and I trust my customers not to give it away to other people for free.
